UFO's captured on Video over Jersaleum - mass sighting

Remote ITC / Ghost Radar / iOvlius/. Crossover Talk / The Sallie House

The upcoming 72 Hour LIVE ghost at the Sallie House is rapidly approaching and instead of packing our gear we have decided to keep investigating the location until our flight leaves. How you ask? In preparation for this broadcast we have been trying out a new theory that ITC(Instrumental Trans Communication) can be used as form of remote communication. To illustrate this we have been trying to conduct audio ITC experiments from a remote California location, and once we get on location EVP, ITC data collection will occur. It is our thought that the responses remotely and once on location could go hand in hand to together, and further point us into the right direction of even greater evidence retrieval.

A lot of people are very unfamiliar with various forms of ITC (Instrumental Trans Communication)and often associate it with being something that has been only developed and practiced recently however Tesla and Thomas Edison are often credited with its origins. With the explosion of technology and the net individuals are able to set up there own sessions and with quite familiarity and get stunning results.

The set up we are using is quite basic although we have tweaked a number of things to suit our own experiments that we are running. In a nut shell we have been running; radio shack hacked version of Franks Box, jailbroken iphone 4.0 and 3.0, iovilius, ghostradar, m2, and digital dowsings ITC app, crossover talk, and 8bit to 16bit sound recorders. The radio-shack hack is slightly modified so that instead of randomly scanning one band its scans, fm, am and shortwave at the same time. Our iphones are jailbroken so that all the words from the various itc devices instead of being stored on the phone also getting pushed to databases on the computer, and when crossovertalk is used the words get pushed out to that as well.

The experiment has progressing and each night and contact appears to be coming through clearer and clearer, as if something or someone is warning us about a malevolent spirit named "Belezebub".

Shadow People

I thought I would post this video up as I thought it would be interesting for people to check out. Given how notoriously hard shadow people are to capture on film this video I feel is one of the best video captures of one that I have ever got. Before you view the video it is important to note that there was only one Infrared light source which was on the video camera while this shot, and there was nobody behind the person taking the video.

With the emergence of powerful hand held devices such as apple’s iphone and motorola/google’s andriod it is now wonder that makers of field equipment used in paranormal investigations are starting to feel the need to tap into the “apps” market. When I first heard about the handful of apps out on the market I decided to give them a shot. At $1.99 for an emf apps iphone program I thought, why not. My errrr’d Thoughts of the most haunted hand held, “ghost detector” were over, or so I thought.
The first two apps that I tested are both hand ITC devices but had surprising results. The first to undergo the field test was the “Ghost Radar” app by Spudpicklez.

What does the Ghost Radar do, measure?

“Ghost Radar measures and analyzes small fluctuations in the Quantum Fluctuations around your iPhone or iPod touch. When the radar first starts it will be very sensitive to the noise in your environment perhaps giving false readings. After several minutes of self adjustment the radar will learn how to filter out the noise. The longer the radar is allowed to run the more sensitive it becomes to anomalous readings. What those readings mean and how you interpret them is up for debate. The theory of what is happening is that intelligent energy can be made aware of their ability to influence the sensors of the iPhone and iPod touch. Much like the theory behind anomalous readings of a K-II meter. Try asking entities to interact with Ghost Radar.”
Now during a number a field tests we did get a number of words that it did pull up on the device. About 50% of the questions that we asked did have a relative answer. One of the things that we do like about this app is the user has the ability to data log and email out the words that app crunched out, which is especially useful. The biggest thing that we don’t like about the app is that it is nearly impossible to understand the raw data that is constantly being flashed on the screen. For a $1.99 though it is a fun device to play with, however I would not consider a must have for any investigator.

On the flip side the iovilus app was horrible. I would of thought that the app would of been much better than its predecessor. Instead it was a huge disappointment. Just like the original ovilus the words are impossible to understand and they aren’t even displayed on the screen. There are no additional settings, such as dowsing mode, emf, etc mode.I would spend the $1.99 that they charging for the app and would instead enjoy spending that on a toilet paper. I could not find the app deletion quickly enough on my phone.

I do believe that the Ghost Radar definitely has the hands up in these handheld itc devices. Whether or not these devices improve in the future or lean more towards the “hoaxy” hollywood esque type of genre remains to be seen.

Life Aboard the Queen Mary

Coming to the Queen Mary is absolutely amazing experience, and I am so lucky to be able to stay on it for two nights. The ship is internationally recongnized not only for its one of kind grandeor but also known for its paranormal activity.

First of all the size of the ship is breath taking, this is quickly realized when you start walking the ship. It just over 1000 ft (just under half a mile) which makes it longer then Titanic. The rooms on the decks line the sides and the middle of the liner.Most of the ship has its original fixtures from back in the days when it used to be a luxury line which gives it a time warp feeling.

the k2...and what we learned from it..

The main purpose of using equipement in the field is supposed to help disprove or help prove the existence of paranormal activity, the k2 does neither. Over the past year I can say that we have throughly evaluated and used the k2 in the field, and our tech team has performed many experiments on it. It is to much of our dismay that we will no longer be backing this piece of equipement nor using it on our investigations due to the numerous false positives that it creates and also due to the ease that it can be manipulated.
The k2 can give false readings due to:
1.) Radio frequencies, from cell phones, wireless body packs, walkies, radios, cell phone towers, etc.
2.) vibrations - due to speach

The Matrix of Matrixing

Ever looked up in the sky at the clouds and saw something that immediately made you associate the visual with something. Matrixing is the brain's ability to create a familliar image from a picture that would otherwise be unrecognizable. One of the best ways to combat matrixing in photographs or video is to:

1 - use a high res camera.
2 - have proper lighting of the subject area
3 - much like when listening to evps, do not draw out the area that you believe you see something. Instead show it to various people and see if they notice anything odd in the photograph.
4 - Use a higher fps(frames per second)
5 - be skeptical minded

Motives, Why the reason for this post you ask? Recently while broadcasting from a private residence, my motives were questioned. By whom, by people who haven't had any real investigative experience. Why because they believed the person was not in the perfect mental state, but then again who is anyone these days, which actually surpised me since none of them are pyschologists. My main motive with livescifi.tv has always been to help people who are experiencing paranormal activity, document their claims, and to use the broadcasting platform as a way to learn/and capture evidence from other investigators, so that we can better serve our clients.

Most people fail to put themselves into the shoes of the people that they are trying to help. In the case of "Jimmy's," he had asked us to broadcast it because he wanted other people out there, who may be experiencing this type of phenomena to know that they weren't alone, and also to validate his claims that there was something occurring in his residence. We offered support to him when most people looked the other way. We also were able to document and validate what he experienced. What some people fail to see because of their selfish motives, are the countless hours that we spent on this case, with the client on the phone, interviews, analzying evidence, and research, trying to help but hey people are human.

Happy Valentines Day! In the spirit of livescifi.tv's, "In Search of the Paranormal," here is some info on the V-day massacre, and the location which is supposedly haunted.

Is Chicago's St. Valentine's Day Massacre Crime Scene Haunted or Not?

If you've ever visited the location of 2122 N. Clark Street in Chicago, you will only see a fenced lawn and a few trees. Once, a long time ago, a building stood in this spot. Visitors walking past the lawn have reported hearing screams, the sound of a barking dog and a machine gun. Animals are supposed to be skittish about going near the small patch of lawn.
I visited the area not too long ago. I expected some sensation as I stood on the ground of what is probably Chicago's most notorious crime and bloodiest mob hit of all times: The St. Valentine's Day Massacre.
On February 14, 1929, in a warehouse that once stood on this ground, seven of mobster Bugs Moran's men were gunned down in cold blood by a hail of machine gun fire as they were lined up against the garage wall. By five men, who posed as police officers. Although the massacre is long assumed to be the work of rival gang member, Al Capone (who was conveniently vacationing down in Florida at the time), no one was ever charged with the crime.
Six men waited in this red brick warehouse for a truck delivery of illegal whiskey. The seventh man, John May, was an auto mechanic who Moran had hired to fix a truck. He had his dog with him and the dog was tied to the truck. As he worked, the other men waited patiently for both Moran and the whiskey.
Instead, a police car pulled up and five men entered into the garage. Two were dressed as police officers, the other three were assumed to be undercover agents. All seven men were lined up against the wall, in the anticipation of an arrest. Instead of being roughed up or handcuffed, they were murdered. The dog was the only survivor.
But the gunmen missed their real target. Moran was running late that day and pulled up to the warehouse to see a police squad car. He thought it was a police raid; then he heard the gunfire. And he fled.
The brutal slaying of the seven men by machine gun shocked the world and is yet another infamous chapter in Chicago's mob history. Although Capone was never charged with the crime, most people believed him to be the mastermind and the man who was once more popular with the people of the city than the mayor, soon lost their favor. It didn't matter, though. Capone was about to be charged with tax evasion and prohibition was soon going to end.
Years later, the building was used as an antique furniture storage facility. But the lure of the building to tourists was much more than that of customers, and the store was soon closed. In the late 1960s, the building was demolished. The end of the era of a morbid attraction seemed to be at hand.
But an entrepreneurial businessman was able to salvage the bricks in the wall; the wall the men were lined up against and shot to death. he opened up a nightclub and used the bricks as somewhat of a macabre attraction. When the club closed, the man decided to sell the 417 bricks at $1,000 a piece. I can remember this happening; it was in the 1980s. It was the era of Dynasty and Dallas and lavish parties at the White House thrown by the Reagans. And some people could afford to pay $1,000 for a piece of history.
Legend has it that the bricks brought bad luck to every single person who purchased them. It is said that the negative energy from the attack was somehow transformed into the bricks and then to the owner of the bricks. It was never explained, however, how the man who bought the bricks in the first place, exploited them in his club and then sold them, was now $417,000 richer. There are stories of the bricks being returned. Of the buyers facing financial ruin, ill health and even death. But whatever became of the bricks is today, a mystery.

Here’s how to make an invisibility cloak
Theoretical cloaking device could soon become reality (sort of)

Researchers say they are rapidly closing in on new types of materials that can throw a cloak of invisibility around objects, fulfilling a fantasy that is as old as ancient myths and as young as "Star Trek" and the Harry Potter novels.

Unlike those tales of fictional invisibility, the real-life technologies usually have a catch. Nevertheless, limited forms of invisibility might be available to the military sooner than you think.

"We're very confident that at radar frequencies, these materials can be implemented on a time scale of 18 months or so," John Pendry of Imperial College London told MSNBC.com.

Pendry's research team is one of two groups whose results were posted Thursday on the journal Science's Web site in advance of print publication. The two papers lay out different theoretical methods for creating invisibility, not only for radar but potentially for optical wavelengths as well.

Still more teams are out there with ideas to make things invisible — using methods ranging from superlenses that cancel out the light from nearby objects to actual cloaks onto which video can be projected as a moving camouflage. The most exotic technologies involve "metamaterials," blends of polymers and tiny coils or wires that twist the paths of electromagnetic radiation.

"There are recipes for controlling metamaterials," explained University of Pennsylvania electrical engineer Nader Engheta, who published his own invisibility recipe last year. "Metamaterials are very interesting products."

The latest research papers describe how metamaterial could be fabricated to bend light in carefully curved paths around the object to be hidden, so that an observer would see right through it — or more accurately, right around it — to the other side.

"The cloak would act like you've opened up a hole in space," Duke University's David Smith, one of Pendry's co-authors, explained in a news release. "All light or other electromagnetic waves are swept around the area, guided by the metamaterial to emerge on the other side as if they had passed through an empty volume of space."

Pendry told MSNBC.com that the cloak wouldn't reflect any light, and wouldn't cast a shadow either. "It would be like Peter Pan had lost his shadow," he said, referring to the fictional character who had to have his shadow stitched back on.

Dreams come true, with a few catches
Theoretically at least, the metamaterial could work like the helmet of invisibility celebrated in Greek myth, or the cloaking device that hid Romulan and Klingon vessels in the "Star Trek" series, or the invisibility cloak that came in so handy for Harry Potter in J.K. Rowlings' novels.

"Fiction has predicted the course of science for some time. ... Maybe these Harry Potter novels were ahead of their time," Pendry said, half-jokingly.

Of course, there are some scientific catches that the tale-tellers never had to worry about:

For a total invisibility effect, the waves passing closest to the cloaked object would have to be bent in such a way that they would appear to exceed relativity's light speed limit. Fortunately, there's a loophole in Albert Einstein's rules of the road that allows smooth pulses of light to undergo just such a phase shift.
The invisibility effect would work only for a specific range of wavelengths. "There is a price to be paid if you want a thin cloak, in that it operates only over a narrow range of frequencies," Pendry said.
The cloak could be made to cover a volume of any shape, but "you can't flap your cloak," Pendry said. Moving the material around would spoil the effect.
The tiny structures embedded in the metamaterial would have to be smaller than the wavelength of the electromagnetic rays you wanted to bend. That's a tall order for optical invisibility, because the structures would have to be on the scale of nanometers, or billionths of a meter. It's far easier to create radar invisibility, Pendry said: "You're talking millimeters" — that is, thousandths of a meter.
The radar application is of great interest to military outfits such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, which funded Pendry's team. "Radar is a defense technology, and if you wish to hide from it, this sort of cloak would be a good way of doing it," he said. Such a technology would be "far superior to stealth," he said.

If optical cloaks could be designed, that would be of interest to the military as well. "One obvious thing would be that you could construct a hutch in which you could hide a tank, and the hutch would make it appear as though the tank wasn't there. ... You could also think of weightier things, like submarines or battleships, where you might want to put some of this stuff," Pendry said.

Civilian applications, too
There'd be plenty of applications in the civilian world as well, even for rudimentary cloaking devices. For example, you could create receptacles to shield sensitive medical devices from disruption by MRI scanners, or build cloaks to route cellphone signals around obstacles. "You may wish to put a cloak over the refinery that is blocking your view of the bay," Duke University's David Schurig, another of Pendry's co-authors, was quoted as saying.

While Pendry's team proposed constructing all-over cloaking devices, the other research paper published Thursday describes a simpler method that would involve shaping the metamaterials into cylindrical cloaking devices. The method could also work to block sound waves — like the cone of silence on the "Get Smart" TV show, but not as silly.

The catch here is that the invisibility effect would work only if you were on the same plane as the hidden object. "You could look on top of it, and look inside the cloak," said the paper's author, Ulf Leonhardt of the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

Leonhardt told MSNBC.com that "potentially a mixture of the two schemes will lead to a practical design." He said the paper from Pendry's team gave him some additional ideas to work with.

"I read it for the first time just last Friday, and I've come up already with something new," he said.

why I do what ado...

I thought this would be a good place to clear up some of the rumors circulating about livescifi.tv. One of the rumors that I heard is that we are only streaming and broadcasting our investigations because we are hoping to make money. Although I was initially ticked off when I heard the rumor, I've come to think that this can be constructive if I layed it out to our viewers about what is livescifi.tv and what we hope to accomplish in the future.

I guess I should start off by telling everyone that my passion has always been with any thing to do with the paranormal since I was a child. Like most of the people in this field I experienced many things that went bump in the night in my early years. Experiencing these things as a child, gave me the drive to search for answers. I started off at various libraries around town reading books about paranormal phenomena while most kids were off playing hoops etc. As soon as I got my license I ended up taking a tour at the Winchester house. It wasn't until after college that I joined a couple of groups in the area, each different, hoping to satisfy my thirst for answers. Throughout this time while I was either being an investigator, v.president, tech guy, founder, for these various groups there were multiple members who were unable to attend or other groups that wanted to participate but couldn't because of distance etc. It was during this time that I thought it would be a great idea to be able to broadcast our investigations live and uncut, and to make them as interactive as possible so that the viewers could participate actively on the investigation. How great would it be to have 1000's of people analyzing and interpreting evidence in a public open forum!

Our first broadcasts started in May of 2007 and basically consisted of just the investigation and one head cam, back in May of 2007. Shortly after that Justin Kan contacted us to be one of the first streamers on j.tv we were thrilled. Jay and I had decided that we would still do online paranormal investigations, but we would take a lifecasting approach to the show as well, so that people in the community would know what a "Night in the Life of a Paranormal Investigator" is about. That is why we stream the car rides, mornings at IHOP, the conversations, etc. we are now at our current home Ustream, and who knows were we will end up next.=)

Many viewers have asked me why don't we take the TAPS approach to things. And basically the main reason why we don't take the TAPS approach to things is that we not only want to verify if the location is haunted, but we want to know what the causes for the haunting are. I think it is good for groups to try different things that are out of the norm. The Ouija has been a hot topic of debate over the past few months with our viewers and other people in the community. In all honesty I have never even touched a Ouija board before we used a couple months ago. Although I have read many books on the Ouija and can understand peoples negative connotations regarding I thought it would be a good tool to use to supplement our investigative equipment on investigations. So far it has worked out quite well, Burlington and the Stanley proved to show evps that were captured while it was in use. I want to thank a viewer who recommended that we try it out.

I have always made it a point to know many if not all of our viewers (I prefer to call them livescifi investigators) in the chat over the past 9 months. I have always respected each and every person, because as a paranormal investigator I believe that no one can say that there is a proven way to investigate. Since our inception there have only been 7 viewers you have been banned from the site for TOS issues, which our viewers created. We have never been the type of site to publicly state, or to blast out emails when a viewer is banned. However I have and will answer any questions when questioned about it. Viewers in the past who were banned were due to spam, and emails that flow from other user/viewer owned sites that are inflammatory/obscene to other livescifi.tv members or viewers will be concerned as direct violation of TOS. I want to restate that livescifi.tv is a open site and community were people are free share ideas and develop friendships.

In the next few months you may witness some changes to livescifi.tv and the community but we will always stay committed to our roots, which are "live interactive investigations," "free to investigate, free to view" and to our viewers who are the best and who have evolved this community into one of the best on the web. So I am asked, are we in it for the money? Our response to that is, "Who wouldn't want to make money on something that they love doing and feel so passionate about." Would you ever tell a teacher who loved teaching to stop teaching because they were making money of it? It is not our intention to profit off of what we are doing if happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't, we are having fun and learning from each and every investigation that we do.

One of the newest pieces of equipment that the livescifi.tv team has added to their equipement bag is the portable weather station. This handheld gadget fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, has a blacklight, and gives temperature, barometer, humidity, windspeed, humidity and many more readings. The device is made my kestral, and seems pretty durable.

Majestic Hotel History

The Hotel Majestic was constructed in 1902 as the private residence of Milton Schmidt, a turn of the century railroad magnate and member of the California State Legislature. Two years later, in 1904, Senator Schmidt moved on and the building became the Hotel Majestic. Two years after that, the Great Earthquake of 1906 struck. The terrible fires that ravaged the city halted at Van Ness Avenue, two blocks from The Majestic. This stroke of luck has made The Majestic San Francisco's oldest continually operating hotel.
Not only is The Hotel Majestic rich in it’s Golden Era history, but it has been said by many that The Majestic’s history is haunted by a resident Ghost. Guest’s have told of their eerie experiences while staying on the fourth floor. One room, rm. 408, where we will be staying, in particular spook people when the bathtub mysteriously fills with water. The ghost likes to walk the hallway late at night, with keys clanging along the walls.
Another story involves a production manager who was staying at the hotel while filming “Sweet November”. Late at night she reported to the front desk staff that her bed was shaking and thought they were having an earthquake. These unexplainable occurrences have left many guests wondering whose spirit walks the halls. It is believed that the daughter of the first owner refused to leave the building after it was sold. Her portrait now stands in the lobby, and perhaps her haunted spirit may still be there. The resident Ghost is seemingly spooky but always playful and friendly.

Casino Blding Location Write Up

The following was written by one of our newest memebers Devin, hopefully this will fill everyone in on the colorfull history of this beautiful building and location. Our broadcast will begin at 8pm PST / 11am EST and can viewed by going to www.livescifi.tv. Thanks - Tim@livescifi.tv

This building went up in the 1800's, nearest we can figure around 1812. There was ,how ever ,previous tenants to the land on which it is built. The building is built upon an old Indian burial ground. This land is said to be mystic and full of power.
The building has changed hands , and roles over the years. It was used as a warehouse, to store goods for the settlers in the area. This may explain the apparitions of the 2 "Long Riders", who pull up on there ghostly horses, tie them off , dismount and with long coats, cowboy hats, and clothes of an area gone by, they go through the front door.
It also contained a Vaudeville theater. There are a couple of actors who are still waiting for their curtain call. They show up as ghostly figures, and shadows. We believe that the Theater became a Blue's club, were non other than Jonnie Cash played a few times. The owner of the club ran on some hard times, and in a final act of desperation, took his own life. He can be heard playing a Blues tune from the other side. The Blues man, as he is known by around here, sometimes shows up holding his guitar and looking for the stage.
The building has also held a movie theater, and was the site of an Ice skating rink. One of these may explain the appearance of a young girl. She is said to be very cute, friendly and like to play pranks on people.
Things will suddenly be move to other parts of the building. She also likes to touch people when they least expect it.Maybe she would like to come out and play.
It also was the place of an execution. There was a Lynching that took place there. The young man who was hung, by this Lynch mob, is said to visit there as well. At this time, we cannot be sure if he was hung at the back stairs, or the big tree that was cut down a few months back.
The building is under reconstruction,and it is said that Spirits become more active when things are being changed.

Stanely Hotel - Broadcast

Wow I didn't realize it was over a month since we last updated our blog!! Well many exciting changes/investigations have happened since so I don't were to start. So I guess I will start by first telling everyone that this weekend we will be doing a 72 hour live interactive paranormal investigation at Stanely Hotel, in Estes Park Colorado. For anyone that is unfamiliar with the Stanely it is were Stephen King wrote and based his novel the Shining from. I have been there twice before and I can't wait to back, because the whole seems to ooze with paranormal activity. We have rented out all of the haunted rooms, so it will be very interesting to see if we can capture anything for our viewers while we are there.. Among other things we have been investigating the Burlington hotel for over a month now and have captured some really interesting EVPs there along with some very interesting personal experiences there. We plan to go back there later in the month to see what we can capture again. Out of all the places we investigate it always amazes me that when you least expect activity to happen it occurs!

Officers Club / Moss Beach Distillery Review

The officers club investigation went off with out a hinch except for the fact that we gathered no evidence of any paranormal activity while we were there. However we were able to debunk within minutes the evidence that taps had gathered from the location.(ir - shadow) =P
Moss beach was much the same way if not quiter, we did however enjoy both of the locations and challenges that each one brought foward.

Thermal cams are an unreveiled tool when it comes to ghost hunting equipement. They by far give the user and the viewer in our case the easability to see temperature variations...One of the major problems with this piece of equipment that I want to point out to our viewers is that since this piece of equipment is so sensative often times it can be misleading. One of the perfect examples that I would like to point out, was when one of our viewers saw a warm spot on the floor. Our first response was that we had no idea what or why this warm spot had appeared on the thermal. After reviewing video footage we uncovered that an investigator had prevoiusly sat where the warm spot occured on the floor an hour prior. This just goes to show how sensitive this piece of equipment is and how misleading the results can be if not used in a controlled setting.

Lost Archives....ARGH!!!

I'm not too happy right now. We lost all of our archives including the stream from last weekend's convention. This is a major bummer because we lost some great footage that we were hoping to review this week. Oh well, I guess that's just how it's going to be. Something needs to change soon because we also lost our stream from this past Tuesday. This is so embarrassing.

We just want to apologize to our viewers for this mishap. We're working on a solution so this won't happen again.

Well nothing out of the ordinary happenend last night at the Pleasanton Hotel for me personally, although we still have tons of footage to go through you never know! One of our investigators Noreen said that she had heard an audible "thank you" that was said to her, and at one point we thought that a light was being turned on and off by its-self only to uncover that it was one of the staff members (Nancy) on the other side of building turning off another switch which caused them to flicker on and off..The hotel is an awesome building with loads of history, and is beautifully decorated. I would like to say a big thanks! for letting us come out there...=)
